Tongnan is located in the world's lemon gold planting belt at 30 degrees north latitude, with warm climate and shallow flat land. Tongnan is one of the three major lemon producing areas in the world. At present, the lemon planting area in the region reaches 320,000 mu, with an annual output of 350,000 tons of fresh fruit and a comprehensive output value of 7.5 billion yuan in 2023, covering the whole industrial chain from seedling cultivation, standardized planting to intensive processing and marketing. More than 100,000 rural households increased their incomes.
At the same time, "Tongnan Lemon" is moving towards the goal of "China's first lemon brand". In recent years, Tongnan District has innovatively implemented the "Tongnan Lemon" brand project, accelerated the construction of matrix brand communication system, and promoted the transformation of "local specialties" into "world brands".
